Harry’s merely talking on the phone
is no evidence that
1. Harry likes to talk on the phone.
2. Harry prefers to use the phone.
3. Harry dislikes using the phone.
or even,
4. Harry uses the phone reluctantly.
These are dispositional terms and
the episodic evidence
is neither necessary nor sufficient
to establish them.
